China's National Energy Agency supports iCET's cooperation with two National Biomass Energy Research Centers
China's National Energy Agency officially presented a "Letter for supporting research on a standards system for the development of non-grain biomass liquid fuel" to iCET. The letter supports cooperation between iCET, the National Energy Biomass Liquid Fuel Development Center and the National Energy Non-Grain Biomass Research Center.

On July 8th, 2011, iCET's low carbon transportation team met with decision-makers at the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) of China and introduced iCET's transportation work progress to them, particularly the recent influential reports, "China Passenger Vehicle Corporate Average Fuel Consumption (CAFC) Trend Report (2006-2010)" and "China Environmentally Friendly Vehicle (EFV) Annual Research Report 2010".
