iCET makes presentation at Guangdong International Workshop on Energy Efficiency Finance and Investment
On January 20th, 2011, iCET attended the Guangdong International Workshop on Energy Efficiency Finance and Investment. This event was organized by the Institute for Sustainable Communities (ISC), EHS Academy at Sun Yat-sen University and SGS CSTC Standards Technical Services Co., Ltd. Around 100 representatives from governments, NGOs, academia, financial institutions, enterprises, and energy service companies participated in this workshop.

On January 18,19 of 2001, iCET team members Dr. Feng An, Dr. Yufu Cheng and Lucia Green-Weiskel traveled to Washington DC to attend the US-China Strategic Forum on Clean Energy Cooperation hosted by the Brookings Institution, the China Institute for Innovation and Development Strategy and the Department of Energy.

On Dec.16, 2010, the Sustainable Development Summit, hosted by SGS-CSTC （SGS-CSTC Standards Technical Services Co., Ltd.）, took place in Beijing. Dec 15, 2010, iCET signed an agreement with AutoNavi to develop a tailored version of Mini map for green cars. The cooperation between iCET and AutoNavi will promote the development of EFVs (environmentally friendly vehicles) in China and make a contribution to energy-saving and environment protection.

From Nov. 29th to Dec.3rd, 2010, iCET’s ECR team came to Los Angeles and attended a one-week training on GHG registry at The Climate Registry (TCR). The training covered protocol development, reporting software, member service, marketing, member training as well as other related aspects.
