On July 11, 2011, to promote the sustainable development of China's automobile industry, iCET has completed two major influential new reports, entitled "China Passenger Vehicle Corporate Average Fuel Consumption (CAFC) Trend Report (2006-2010)" and "China Environmentally Friendly Vehicle (EFV) Annual Research Report 2010".

China's National Energy Agency officially presented a "Letter for supporting research on a standards system for the development of non-grain biomass liquid fuel" to iCET. The letter supports cooperation between iCET, the National Energy Biomass Liquid Fuel Development Center and the National Energy Non-Grain Biomass Research Center.
