iCET Co-organizes the Sino-US Clean Transportation Policy and Technology Summit 

iCET co-organized the “Sino-US Clean Transportation Policy and Technology Summit” jointly with the Beijing Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection Center (BEEC) and Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC), on December 10 in Beijing. The event was supported by the Beijing Municipal Commission of Transport, Beijing Municipal Commission of Development and Reform, Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Commission, Beijing Municipal Environmental Protection Bureau and the Embassy of the United States.

A meeting of China’s Technical Committee on the Non-food Biomass Energy Feedstock (NEA/TC24) was held on November 25 in Beijing. As the only NGO working on biofuel research in China, iCET was invited by the National Energy Administration (NEA) to engage in biofuel standard strategy planning and draft review.

iCET attends China’s 4th Technical Committee on the Energy Industry bio-liquidFuel Conversion Process (NEA/TC22) meeting and reviewed six bio-liquid fuel standards

The fourth meeting of China’s Technical Committee on the Energy Industry bio-liquid Fuel Conversion Process (NEA/TC22) was held on October 23-24, in Shandong Province - the location of China’s first commercial cellulosic ethanol project. As the only NGO working on biofuel research in China,iCET was invited by the National Energy Administration (NEA) to engage in biofuel standard strategy planning and drafts review.

iCET Presents its ZEV work at the International Electric and Hybrid Vehicle Conference

iCET was invited to present its work to date on the Zero Emissions Vehicle (ZEV) Credits Program Evaluation for the Case of Chinese Cities report at the International Electric and Hybrid Vehicle Conference held in Chongqing on October 17-18. Dr. An, the founder and president of iCET, emphasized that work in this field is ongoing and invited stakeholders from the electric vehicle, supply chain, and infrastructure sectors to engage with iCET to advance market-based regulatory tools in favor of ZEV commercialization.
