On August 15 the Innovation Center for Energy and Transportation (iCET) organized the first China Low-Emissions Vehicle and Fuel Economy Stakeholders Engagement Workshop, with the support of the Energy Foundation, the U.K. Government Strategic Prosperity Fund, the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), and the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP).

On June 13, iCET released its annual 2014 China Green Car Report. This year's report was endorsed by the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) and created in conjunction with China's Vehicle Emissions Control Center (VECC), highlighting green rating values of nine vehicle categories in China. iCET's founder Dr. Feng An presented the report's highlights during an interactive presentation moderated by a CCTV host, followed by a discussion panel of six major green car stakeholders.

iCET is interviewed by various media platforms for providing its views on China's first Corporate Average Fuel Consumption reporting disclosure.
In May 2014 China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) published corporate average fuel consumption data for the first time, aiming at increasing fuel economy management and transparency.
