News I iCET Hosts a Panel at the 8th Vehicle Emissions Summit Forum

On May 19, 2015, iCET's founder and president and the chairman of the Global Clean Vehicle Summit (GCVS), Dr Feng An, was invited to host a panel discussion on "What are vehicle and engine manufacturers expectations from the next stage of emissions standards?" at the 8th Vehicle Emissions Summit. Panel participants included senior engineers from Yuchai Group, the deputy director of Weichai Power R&D Center, and the head of New Technologies of Dongfeng Commercial Vehicle Co R&D center.

Participants discussed the prospects of and concerns regarding the adoption of more stringent vehicle emissions legislation, while also exploring practical strategies and measurements that can ensure compliance. Experts expressed concern over the impact of the uncertainty associated with the introduction of Euro VI standards, and highlighted the importance of a standards implementation management mechanism.
