iCET becomes the first and only Chinese organization to join the R20 regional initiative
On November 16th, iCET became the first and only Chinese organization to join the R20 regional initiative. The R20, launched by California governor Arnold Schwarzenegger is a first-of-its-kind, innovative subnational public-private alliance that will work toward climate change solutions and building the global green economy.

From Nov.15-16, iCET organized a delegation from Climate Department, of National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) to attend the Governor's Global Climate Summit 2010 in Los Angeles. Leaders from nations around the world, US governments, research institutes, enterprises, NGOs made presentations at the summit.

On September 15th -17th , 2010, the 5th World Bioenergy Symposium(WBS) was held at Suzhou BioBAY, China, as a leading think-tank to promote low carbon and sustainable bio-fuels in China, iCET was kindly invited. Mr. Robert Earley, Low Carbon Transportation Program Manager of iCET, gave a presentation entitled “Transportation Fuel Lifecycle GHGs Emissions Assessment Standards and Low Carbon Fuels Policy in China" at the panel of “Life-Cycle Analysis and Sustainability of Biofuel Production”, sharing iCET’s experience on developing low carbon fuel standards and policies.
