iCET Presents China’s EV Market Development in World Bank "Knowledge Exchange on Clean Energy Vehicle Workshop"
An, founder and president of iCET, was invited to present China’s EV market development in a global World Bank (WB) organized "Knowledge Exchange on Clean Eenergy Vehicle Programs" workshop held in New Delhi. The workshop, designed to expose local governments to Clean Energy Vehicle Programs, attracted the active participation of global experts and local decision-makers aimed at exchanging ideas towards more informed sustainable transportation development in India and other developing countries.

iCET presented its vision for "Transportation in the Era of Big Data: Development of the Global Live-CycleTM Framework Methodology" at the UN Framework Climate Change Conference (COP21) in Paris, attracting broad interests from many international organizations. The plan has received support recently from the National Geographic Society's Air and Water Conservation Fund in China through a grant for the project: "Transportation in the Era of Big Data: Public-Private Cooperation on Transportation Data". This project, announced by the two parties on January 20th 2016, will kick off big data and global value chain (GVC) studies, as well as promotion of the concept of sustainability.

iCET held its BestEV project kick-off and consensus development meeting in Beijing
iCET held a BestEV kick-off meeting to advance EV commercialization in Beijing on December 3, 2015 at the Energy Foundation China HQ. Local and national policymakers have taken steps to increasingly strengthen consumer benefits in order to accelerate NEV commercialization but despite these efforts, supply and demand of high-quality EVs has remained low. As a step to increase EV performance, BestEV aims to provide the general public and automakers with insights regarding China’s EV market.
2015 CAFC Report Press Conference
The Innovation Center for Energy and Transportation (iCET) held its 5th China Passenger Vehicle Fuel Consumption 2015 Development Annual Report press conference at Media Coffee in Beijing on December 2, 2015. Attendees included representatives from more than 30 different companies, higher educational institutions, rand media outlets, including NDRC, Tsinghua University, CATARC, BATC, GreatWall Motor, Ford, GAC, Business News, Petroleum Business News, China Auto, China Daily and others.
