News I iCET Visits Southwest Jiaotong University for Exchange and Learning

On October 21, 2024, the Innovation Center for Energy and Transportation (iCET) visited Southwest Jiaotong University’s School of Transportation and Logistics in Chengdu for in-depth discussions on low-carbon transportation. The visit aimed to share both sides’ latest research progress in transportation energy transition, explore innovative pathways for low-carbon transport technologies and policies, and provide strategic insights and practical references for future cooperation.

This exchange offered iCET a valuable opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of Southwest Jiaotong University’s most recent achievements in the low-carbon transportation field. It also provided new ideas and directions for future collaboration. Moving forward, iCET will continue to promote the application of low-carbon transportation technologies across diverse transport scenarios—particularly in road freight, maritime shipping, and aviation—and advance the decarbonization process in these sectors.
