News I iCET holds a BestEV qualitative questionnaire testing through an EV test drive and focused-group

On the morning of March 8, iCET held a consumer EV test-drive trial and focused group in a BAIC Beijing sales store (4S) for assessing the qualitative questionnaire design part of the newly developed BestEV methodology. The BestEV is an EV performance ranking system that relies on both quantitative criteria and qualitative criteria obtained through reported data and voluntary public participation respectively. The initial qualitative criteria were developed through meta analysis followed by a Delphi Method and consensus development conferencing in which over 30 EV experts from the public, private and academic sector participated.

The trial and focused group included eight participants and have provided iCET with instrumental guidance that lead to qualitative questionnaire design revisions. The nearly-final version of the qualitative questionnaire is planned to be tested in a Beijing Auto Museum organized EV test ride and drive in April. We welcome your participation in the next trail sessions and focused group! Please contact us for further details: lzqin@icet.org.cn
