iCET held its BestEV project kick-off and consensus development meeting in Beijing
iCET held a BestEV kick-off meeting to advance EV commercialization in Beijing on December 3, 2015 at the Energy Foundation China HQ. Local and national policymakers have taken steps to increasingly strengthen consumer benefits in order to accelerate NEV commercialization but despite these efforts, supply and demand of high-quality EVs has remained low. As a step to increase EV performance, BestEV aims to provide the general public and automakers with insights regarding China’s EV market.
After two rounds of Delphi method for BestEV criteria weighting, iCET held the BestEV kick-off meeting on December 3rd, 2015. The meeting was also serving as a consensus development conferencing, collecting participants’ inputs on the initial methodology and marketing plan. Among attendees were about 30 experts from government, auto industry, EV manufacturing, media, and NGOs attended, including Mr. Zhenhua Yu from Zhongguancun Energy Storage Industry Technology Alliance, Mr. Cheng Wang from CATARC, Mr. Qi Lu from Tsing Capital, Mr. Jinming Niu from Beijing New Energy Promotion Center, Friends of Nature.
