News I iCET gave presentation of Bio-energy in the US:Markets, Investment Opportunities and Challenges on China International Bio-Energy Summit 2014
September 16-18th, China International Bio-Energy Expo & Summit 2014 was held at Radisson Blu Hotel and China International Exhibition Center, which co-organized by Chinese Renewable Energy Industries Association(CREIA), Biomass Energy Subcommittee of Chinese Renewable Energy Society, China National Renewable Energy Center(CNREC), Construction Industry Sub-Council of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, Construction Industry Sub-Council of China Chamber of Intentional Commerce and Biomass Innovation Alliance will jointly organize the most authoritative communication platform. Leaders from National Energy Administration, National Development and Reform Commission, Ministry of Agriculture, Ministry of Science and Technology, Ministry of Environmental Protection, etc. as well as over 300 industry representatives attended the conference.
Ms. Liping KANG, Clean Transportation Project Manager, was kindly invited to give a presentation titled with Bio-energy in the US:Markets, Investment Opportunities and Challenges, she pointed out US government is fostering this growth through policy and financial incentives, the market for Bio-energy is showing a promising growth. She also recommended China should increase the incentives for biofuels development, establish a market-based mechanism to ensure the industry sustainable development. iCET is struggling to promote bioenergy technology transfer and collaboration between China and US.
