iCET presents China’s biofuel developments at the 6th Stakeholder Plenary Meeting (SMP6) of the European Biofuel Technology Platform

iCET was invited to speak at the 6th Stakeholder Plenary Meeting of Energy Security and Biofuels for Low Carbon Transport in Brussels on October 14-15. Over 150 stakeholders attended the event, in which iCET presented developments in governance and markets in China.

The presentation highlighted that biofuel related information exchanges between China and international players are limited, and that iCET is dedicated to promoting global alternative fuel experiences and stakeholder collaboration to enhance the adoption of worldwide best-practices in China.

With support from the Energy Foundation, iCET’s major biofuel work during 2014 focused on the introduction of regulations and practices from the EU Renewable Energy Directive and Fuel Quality Directive to key decision-makers in China.
