News I iCET finalizes its 2010 Clinton Global Initiative Commitment
In July 2010, iCET finalized its 2010 Clinton Global Initiative Commitment to Action to reduce GHG emissions in China through the Energy and Climate Registry project. Through the ECR, iCET is helping companies measure, report and reduce their total corporate greenhouse gas footprint. The Commitment to Action estimates that iCET will help companies reduce a total of 4.5 million metric tons of CO2 equivalent per year. iCET will increase its commitment to reduce emissions in China in over the next year. iCET has been granted an honorary membership to the Clinton Global Initiative and our commitments will be honored at the CGI Annual Meeting in New York on September 22nd, 2010 with Bill Clinton and other luminaries in attendance.
