News I iCET presents at the 5th World Bioenergy Symposium

On September 15^th -17^th , 2010, the 5^th World Bioenergy Symposium(WBS) was held at Suzhou BioBAY, China, as a leading think-tank to promote low carbon and sustainable bio-fuels in China, iCET was kindly invited. Mr. Robert Earley, Low Carbon Transportation Program Manager of iCET, gave a presentation entitled “Transportation Fuel Lifecycle GHGs Emissions Assessment Standards and Low Carbon Fuels Policy in China" at the panel of “Life-Cycle Analysis and Sustainability of Biofuel Production”, sharing iCET’s experience on developing low carbon fuel standards and policies. Mr. Earley was also invited as the moderator of the panel “Food Supply Security and Biofuels”. Particularly, Mr. Liu Qun, Biofuel Division Director of National Energy Administration, cited iCET’s researches and viewpoints in his speech “Biofuel Development Strategy and Vision of Biofuel Potential and Policy in China”, which encourages iCET a lot.
