News I iCET attends the Sustainable Development Summit and gives speech

On Dec.16, 2010, the Sustainable Development Summit, hosted by SGS-CSTC （SGS-CSTC Standards Technical Services Co., Ltd.）, took place in Beijing. Representatives from business, academics, and NGOs participated in the forum and discussed sustainable development approaches for enterprises in China. As one of significant strategic partners, iCET was actively involved in this event. Xueyu Li, the Climate Change Program Analyst at iCET, gave a speech at the sub-forum entitled “Energy-Saving and Environmental Protection". She discussed successful international experiences of accounting and reporting greenhouse gas emissions and energy consumption, and introduced the Energy and Climate Registry project operated by iCET in China to the audience.
