News I iCET delivers speeches at OECD and IEA in Paris

On March 28th-29th, iCET's President and Executive Director Dr. Feng An was invited to attend and give a speech at the "Seminar on MRV and Carbon Markets: A CCXG/Global Forum on Environment Event", organized by the OECD (Organization of Economic Cooperation and Development) and IEA (International Energy Agency) in Paris.  Dr. An gave a speech on "Building China Carbon Registry" in the "Sub-national experiences with carbon markets session".

On March 29th, Dr. An visited IEA (International Energy Agency) head office in Paris, and delivered a speech on “Developing Low-Carbon Fuels and Vehicle Efficiency Policies and Standards in China”. Dr. An discussed iCET's transportation work in China, including recently completed UN reports on Electric Vehicles and Global Fuel Economy Trends, with 20 representatives from IEA's China Program, Transportation Group, World Energy Outlook and OECD's ITF (International Transportation Forum).    Dr. An also discussed future collaboration with IEA's China Program on carbon registry, transportation analysis with the World Energy Outlook  and joint projects with the Energy Technology Policy Division.
