News I iCET visited Brazil to discuss Brazil-China low-carbon collaboration

November 25th–29th, 2011iCET President Dr. Feng An visited Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo. In Rio, Dr. An participated the first Greenovation board meeting. Greenovation is a Brazilian private-public partnership initiative to bring various stakeholders together to promote innovation and green economy. Dr. An discussed the prospect of bridging Brazil and China for green innovation. In Sao Paulo, Dr. An visited the The Centre For Sustainability Studies of Getulio Vargas Foundation (GVces). GVces is developing a Brazilian GHG registration system. Dr. An presented iCET's Energy and Climate Registry (ECR) for China, and discussed the collaboration among ECR, GVces and US-based the Climate Registry (TCR) to share GHG registry platform and experiences.
