News I iCET visits Guangdong and Fujian to establish Partnerships of Carbon Program
In August,2013, iCET's Vice President Fang Fang and Communication Officer Anan Luo visited Fujian and Guangdong provinces to meet with governmental agencies to present iCET's carbon management program and establish cooperative partnerships. Fang Fang introduced iCET’s “Energy and Climate Registry” system and California AB32 Bill research works, as well as the international carbon training project. Dean of the Fujian Metrology Institute and two senior engineers expressed their strong intentions to build a long-term strategic cooperative relation with iCET. They appreciated iCET’s in-depth researches on the California AB32 Bill, and long lasting cooperation with “The Climate Registry” in the United States. They looked forward to working with iCET to build more advanced and international energy management systems and standards for Fujian province. Deputy Director of the Shenzhen Municipal Development and Reform Commission Cai Yu hoped to strengthen cooperation between iCET and Shenzhen by sharing iCET’s greenhouse gas accounting procedures and experiences on building the China carbon registry system. Those experiences can be applied to improve the carbon trading platform in Shenzhen.
