News I iCET presents in China's Ethanol Fuel Commercialization Forum in Guangdong

In light of China's southern ethanol 10 (E10) four pilot cities development, Guangdong province organized China’s first expert Ethanol Fuel Industrialization Forum for outlining the sectors’ trends, regulatory framework, and potential commercialization. The forum was aimed at strengthening the pilot a scheme as well as finalizing Guangdong’s program for reaching annual production of 150k ton of cassava fuel ethanol as of 2015.

Among experts that participated in the close-doors forum were China's National Energy Administration, China's Ministry of Agriculture, Guangdong Energy Department, and other local government departments governing energy production, planning, and management. iCET was the only non-government representative which attended in the forum and was invited to present global experiences in developing alternative low-carbon fuels.
