News I iCET presents its first ZEV-credits series report at the Electric Vehicle Technologies and Practical Promotion workshop in Shenzhen
iCET presented first ZEV-credits series report, "Evaluating California's Zero-Emission Vehicle (ZEV) Credits and Trading Mechanism and its Potential Suitability for China", at the Electric Vehicle Technologies and Practical Promotion workshop held in Shenzhen on June 10.
The workshop, organized by Shenzhen Low-Carbon Development Foundation (SCDF), Shenzhen Development and Reform Commissions (DRC) guided NGO and iCET's local partner, and China leading electric car manufacturer BYD.
Industry and regulatory figures attended the workshop, and national experts expressed their thoughts on practical pathways towards electric mobility commercialization, including a need for further examining the potential suitability of the California’s ZEV-credits program for the case of China. iCET has recently engaged with Shenzhen's DRC and SCDF for advancing such research work.
