CCTP Held the First Executive Committee Meeting

On the afternoon of November 2, 2017, China Clean Transportation Partnership held the first Executive Committee Meeting at Energy Foundation Beijing office. As the secretariat, iCET organized the meeting. China Clean Transportation Partnership (CCTP) is a non-official, non-profit and voluntary platform for communication, cooperation and insight delivery, which is co-established by organizations who wish to study and promote the innovative mechanism of China’s clean transportation. The first Executive Committee member are from Energy Foundation, iCET, CATS, VECC, Tsinghua University, SAE, CATARC, Beijing Transport Institute, Shanghai Electric Vehicle Public Data Collecting Monitoring and Research Center and Clean Air Asia, 11 organizations in total.


The meeting reviewed the CCTP's Article and the working rules of the Executive Committee. It confirmed the working principles of "Independent, Professional, Shared, Comprehensive", and established the mission of "Drive China's cleaner transportation through integrating resources among sectors and industries and policy and technology innovation". Framework and topics of the Newsletter and workshop, and other communication issues were also discussed during the meeting.



Mr. Gong Huiming, Program Director of the Transportation Program of Energy Foundation commented that CCTP is for lowering information barriers among industries, sectors, central and local areas, and institutes of different types, pushing the greening of China's transportation and helping China meet the peaking target. It could also be a window to showcase Chinese stories to other developed and developing countries. CCTP will include more influential industry associations, academic institutions, social organizations, enterprises and public institutions, integrating resources among sectors and industries and driving policy and technology innovation in transportation field, pushing the cleaning, low-carbonizing, and efficiency improving process of China's transportation.
