iCET's project manager Ms Kang Liping was invited to participate in the expert committee meeting of Certification Requirements for Bioenergy Sustainability voluntary standard, held on December 21st in Beijing. Led by China Quality Certification Center, the standard defines general criteria and principles, as well as social, environmental and economic index for sustainable bioenergy from feedstock along the utilization process.Experts from Tsinghua University, China Agriculture University, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Engineering, and China Renewable Energy Society participant in the standards' drafting process.
iCET has pioneered the concept of sustainable biofuels in China and has been introducing international best practices in the promotion of biofuel sustainable development in China since 2007.
